So what are we all about?

The Jewelry Artists Network exists to bring together jewelry artists of various mediums via the internet (and then beyond) in order to promote our work and advance our skills though the exchange of information and ideas. This forum is for serious minded artists who are interested in improving their craft and dialoguing in an open and respectful environment.

Forum Organization
The forum is divided into sections and sub-sections within - for example: Jewelry Arts is divided into Wire and Metal, Metal Clay, Beading, etc. Please attempt to keep topics in the appropiate folders. Forum admin reserves the right to edit, delete, or move any post, topic, or thread at their sole discretion.

While it is not required, it is highly recommended that you post an introduction of some sort in the Intro folder. Remember, part of the mission of the forum is to encourage networking. Posting an intro with your background, goals, and general location will help you connect with other members in your area.

OLD BOARD RULE - NEW BOARD FEATURES YET TO BE DETERMINED
The forum is set up to enable more user options, adding administrative (or moderator) functions, the longer you have been posting with us. Please be careful with these tools, they are provided as evidence of a fiduciary trust, and any abuse of these moderating tools will result in immediate suspension of your account.

We encourage our members to make their work, tutorials, supplies, etc available, in the appropriate folders. Tools used in jewelry making can have sharp edges and produce loud noise or debris. Proper clothing should be worn (sometimes including gloves, mask, ear plugs) and manufacturers directions and precautions should be used when operating any machinery or using hand tools.
