I have been exploring all mediums of metalsmithing for the past 8 years with an emphasis on wireworking. My muse will take me from bold colors and designs to simple and chic. The one common theme throughout my jewelry is texture.
I have benefited from classes with great teachers and gained knowledge from many friends in the industry. I began teaching in 2009 at Bead and Wire Fest and writing tutorials to give back to our industry.

I began creating jewelry on a whim somewhere around 2003. After learning a little about wirework from a box kit, I beGan scouring the internet for more information. I stumbled upon many wonderful artists who took the time to share with me, mentoring me in my journey.
After a year I began adding in some sheet metal, working with cold connections until I learned to solder in April 2006. That is when my passion turned to obsession!
I am happy to be able to give back to the jewelry making community with this website, the forum, and the tutorials and soon to come HIDI*s.
* HIDI is a term I am borrowing from the illustrious Hans Meevis until I find some other cute and succinct way of referring to a snapshot of how I do something. Not a tutorial, but a sketch or snapshot of my process. Stay tuned!
