The Jewelry Artists Network Retreat is an annual week long retreat held in October each year.
Our first year was in Ocean City, MD, years 2006-2013 were in Littleton, NC and 2014 sees us move a little bit north to a lovely little farmhouse in Todd, PA.
For a week a group of artists gather together, sharing a house and creating from morning until late in the evening (or the wee hours of the morning depending on who you are).
We share tools and techniques. We share ideas and inspiration. We share meals and a lot of chatter and laughter.
We bring tools and materials and create a pretty amazing studio. With varying skill sets and levels of experience we………etch, enamel, wire wrap, chain maille, set stones (bezel, tube, flush, prong, pave, channel), work with resin, patinas, cuttle and broom straw casting…..we fuse, solder, rivet…..and more.
We bring hand tools, torches, tumblers, flex shafts, drill press, bench grinder/polisher, belt sander, kiln, and more.
The fee hovers around 250 – 275.00 for the week ( food is additional) [fee is subject to change]
The exact week is determined in November or December of the previous year with sign-ups beginning in January.
